FAQs

how are our products made?

The beginning of the making process starts off with using moulds made by us using silicone, a sustainable alternative to plastic moulds, this ensures that every earring and component is completely unique and individual. House of Leopards is known for its quirky style which can't be reproduced.

Each pair of earrings or accessory is then slowly hand mixed using a pigment, biodegradable glitter with eco friendly resin. The resin is then poured into one of the in house hand made moulds and left to set for 24 hours until hardened.

After this the jewellery is demoulded, hand sanded buffed and an additional doming layer of resin is applied and the application of an earring back or hoop, this takes a further 24 hours to cure.

For hand painted pieces this is done individually by hand prior to the doming layer of resin! Some pieces even have an element of sewing involved when adding tassels.

Each piece of jewellery no matter how small therefore takes around 3 days to make!

what materials do you use?

All our jewellery is made using a two part resin with biodegradable glitter. At the current time all our studded earrings are hypoallergenic stainless steel, and the hoops are metal wire, silver or gold plated where mentioned.

can you do custom orders?

Yes! But not all the time… this depends on workload and if it is attainable! I’d love to do all custom orders so please do email me at houseofleopardsuk@gmail.com if you have something in mind.

can i return my earrings?

Unfortunately not due to hygiene reasons but if you are not happy with your purchase for any reason then please do let me know so I can offer an alternative or remake for you.
